Solar power to the people

Going solar will help you become independent from external energy sources and save money and preserve this planet's most precious resources for future generations

Take your power back

Solar PV systems are scalable, which means we can custom build them to any size that makes the most sense for you.
Installing solar panels can increase the value of your home dollar for dollar as the incoming owner will benefit from having lower utility bills.
Depending on where you live, power outages may be uncommon, but when they happen, having a few hours of battery backup for the essentials could make a big difference.

The main benefits of solar

Stop the bill shock

Reduce your escalating electricity costs with a long-term and affordable solution.

Control your costs

Mantain more finantial stability by having more control over you energy consumption rates.

Accessible help

With offices right across Australia, our fast growing network has consultants and installers ready to help.

Attractive ROI

Reliable, efficient systems that deliver reliable return on investment to your home and/or business.

Environmental Benefits

Not only is solar a great cost reducing service, but solar energy is having a profound impact on the environment through providing a renewable energy source that all households in Australia can access whilst doing their bit for the environment.

Solar power means cleaner air

Imagine a future where upcoming generations can breathe clean air even in the city. We dream it is possible and contribute by not releasing CO2, greenhouse emissions, and other pollutants into our atmosphere.

Solar reduces reliance on fossil fuels

Solar energy is helping our world by not supporting fracking, mining, or any other extraction methods and supporting Australians to become independent from fossil fuels when powering their homes and businesses.

Solar helps combat climate change

It is a fact that human activity is the most significant contributor to global warming, but it is also the solution. By shifting to cleaner energy sources, we can help reduce our impact on the planet and protect our quality of life.

Renewable Power Incentives

Households and small businesses across Australia that install a small scale renewable energy system may be able to receive a benefit under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES) to help with the purchase cost. Here are some brief highlights on what is currently available.
Technology Certificates
Feed (for solar
exports) in tariff

Got Questions?

Don't worry! We are here to answer them. Check out our full list of FAQs.

How much will a solar system cost?

At Yuma Energy, we know there's no one-size fits all when it comes to solar energy solutions. That's why our experienced team of CEC accredited Installers are always ready for an in-home consultation - helping you select the perfect system at a price that makes sense! As a starting point a 6.66kw solar system should cost you between $6,500-$10,000 for lowest to highest quality, this is your out of pocket expense after the Australian Government rebate is applied.

How much will solar save me on electricity costs?

The amount of money that a homeowner in Australia can save on their electricity bills by installing a solar panel system will vary depending on several factors, including the size of the system, the amount of electricity used by the home, the cost of electricity from the local utility, and the amount of sunlight that the panels receive. On average, homeowners can expect to save between $500 and $1,500 per year.

How does solar work?

Solar energy works by using solar panels, which contain PV cells made of semiconductor materials like silicon. When sunlight shines on the PV cells, they absorb photons from the sun, which generates an electrical current. This electrical current is in the form of DC (direct current) electricity. However, most homes and businesses use AC (alternating current) electricity. So, a solar inverter is used to convert the DC electricity produced by the PV cells into the AC electricity that can be used by your home or business. Check out our How Solar Works page for more information.

What type of warranty is there?

Yuma Energy stands out from its competitors due to its extensive workmanship and inverter warranties of 15 years, which is double/triple more than the industry standard and longer than what many other companies offer. This extended warranty period covers the quality of the installation, as well as all racking, mounting and cabling equipment used in the system. Yuma Energy's approach makes a huge difference to the savings achieved by customers over time.

How do I know if solar is right for me?

We understand that investment in solar requires consideration of many factors. Before making your decision, ask yourself:

- Are rising power prices a concern?
- Am I willing and able to purchase my own power production instead of paying bills for 30 years or more?
- Do I want to lower my carbon footprint?

If some (or all!) of these rings true with you, then perhaps going green is just what nature ordered – our solar experts will provide whatever information needed so that together we can figure out the best choice!
